All in a Days Work

I always have good intentions to get a lot done and make progress. But, some days it just doesn't happen. Today, I had a heavy heart - for a couple of reasons. A personal struggle with my responsibilities regarding a project at church, and I found out that a friend was successful with a project that we'd been working on together in a way that I wasn't successful. My heart is so excited for her and delighted that she has succeeded. But for myself it brought tears.

I am strong and as 1 Chronicles 28:20 says.... "Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you until all the work for the service of the temple of the LORD is finished." Saw this on K-Love's website and it was very befitting of how I felt today.

Caleb was an absolute blessing today. "I love you mom.....You're the best mom ever." I will so miss those words as he gets older and says them less.

A miracle has taken place. Someone we have all been in prayer about has made massive improvements in their health - cancer free....God is SO good. He is the Giver of miracles...

God bless you and keep you...
In Christ,
Pam

Just a Monday

Today is Monday - looking for motivation, but after all the cleaning in the garage Sat/Sun, well, this mama is a little tired.

The boys and I watched "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" this afternoon. As I feared, sit me still for a minute and I will usually manage to fall asleep. I only missed the last ten minutes, but you know how that goes. If Randy noticed, I will get teased. He is on intercession this week and is spending a few extra days with me. Love it! Right now he's reading to Caleb...what a sweet sound from all the bickering that's been taking place. Ha ha - love the moments.

What to make for dinner? That has to be the question of the day. Hmmmm. So what do you think? Schmitt Goulash or the new Quesadilla casserole I noticed the other day? Both sound yummy to me.

Take care for now - may God bless you abundantly this week.

Welcome!

Well, why would one want to do this "blogging" thing? Not sure really. Just feeling a little intrigued by it and thought it could potentially be therapeutic. Another reason, to document fun memories of my days with my kids....of which much has been forgotten with the older one's. Computer's weren't the thing back then and the older I get the more I forget. Is this the answer? That remains to be seen.

May God be a part of this as I pray He is in each aspect of my life....

Blessings to all,
Pam
