A Great Day in the Lord

How does one choose the right words to describe what was probably the most important day in their child's life?  Well, it's nearly impossible.  January 15, 2013, Caleb Lynn Parker accepted the Lord.  It was just another school day when the beauty of his decision unfolded before us.  It was a grand moment and I will treasure that forever in my heart.

The next step is baptism and what a special day that is as well.  I was super excited because the whole of my sunday school class was getting baptized on the same day!  Five sweet little one's joining the family of God.  How great is that?

My sweet husband lead the service.  Being the specialness of the day, he wanted to give this day the respect and honor that it deserved.

Since I held the greatest honor of leading Caleb TO the Lord, I told Johnny I wanted him to be the one to baptize Caleb.  Share the blessing, that's all I have to say about that.

Sweet Ella.  Caleb's "bestest" friend ever!  Isn't she beautiful?!

New and sweet friends, the Dockens Family.  Here is momma, Tiele, baptizing her baby girl, Swayd.

And then her son, Cooper.

And via a special request, she baptized Sonny as well.  And nope, no mistake.  Sonny is wearing his dad's cap.  He wanted to get baptized in it.  Sonny lost his dad to cancer January 1, 2013.  So, this was a very sweet moment.

Everybody is all wet!!

A super thank you to George and Lucy for preparing the music and making our baptism day even more special!

So sweet, prayer time...

What more can I say?  Such a sweet day ....

In Christ,
Momma Pam
